The replacement to the Selex range is the absolute rated Z.Plex from GE. Manufactured from 100% polypropylene using patented technology, Z.Plex Absolute has been expanded with new micron offerings in 97/8" to 40" lengths.

The patent pending Z.Plex™ filter technology from GE Osmonics represents years of media research and filtration technology expertise. Engineered for greater void volume than current melt blown filters, Z.Plex technology incorporates smaller diameter fibers and an innovative 3-dimensional fiber matrix that maintains structural integrity while greatly increasing filter capacity and significantly reduces pressure drop.

•The Z.Plex Absolute is over 400% more efficient than other traditional absolute rated depth cartridges
•The matrix construction of the Z.Plex Absolute provides lower pressure drops, higher dirt holding capacity, uses less energy and has a longer life than Selex and other absolute depth cartridges.
•NSF/ANSI Standard 61: Drinking water system components certified.
•Meets safety requirements of article 3 of teh EU framework regulation no. 1993/2004/EC in compliance with the EU plastics regulations no. 10/2011.
•Manufactured with filter media that meets the food contact requirements of US FDA 21CFR regulations.
•Z.Plex Absolute filters meet the test criteria for USP class VI-121°C Plastics.
•Unlike the old Selex, there is no additional charge for end caps on Z.PLex Absolute cartridges.
