Crystal Right works by an ion exchange process which removes iron, manganese and hardness. The minimum pH requirement is 6. Ammonia, lead, hydrogen sulphide and copper can also be reduced. The regeneration process is exactly the same as that used in a water softener and requires regeneration with salt (sodium chloride). CR100 is used where the pH is between 6 and 7 and will increase the pH. Crystal Right has a number of advantages over conventional systems in that pH correction, iron/manganese removal and softening can all be addressed in a single process and at lower pHs. Consult the specification sheet for water quality conditions.
This CR100 unit is supplied partailly assembled for shipping. Some assembly will be required. All components and instructions will be supplied.
The CR100 unit size is the physical size of the vessel given in inches (eg 10" x 44").
The figure in litres is the volume of the CR100 Crystal Right.
The lph (litres per hour) figure is the maximum flow rate.
The capacity is the volume of water it can treat before the system requires regeneration - this figure assumes a hardness of 100 ppm CaCO3 (calcium carbonate). If your water is harder this figure is reduced and if your water is softer then the capacity is increased.
