Product Description
Arsenic is found in waters in many parts of the UK. The Arsenic comes from the underground rocks through which the ground water percolates.
The Arsenic legal limit is 10ug/ll.
Arsenic is found naturally in many parts of the UK and Ireland and with the lowering of the European drinking water standards for arsenic it's removal is vital. The contaminated water passes through robust granular Bayoxide media developed for Severn Trent Water. As the water travels through the media the arsenic is absorbed and removed to a level below the drinking water standard. This treatment is a very cost effective way of removing arsenic.
This dry crystalline media is similar to amorrphorphous iron hydroxide but specifically formulated to give a high arsenic removal capacity.
The media is strong, reliable and easy to handle.
Bayoxide is regulation 31 approved for both Municipal and Private Water use.
Water pH needs to be between 6.8 and 9.5 with less than 0.2 mg/l phosphates and no antimony.
This arsenic reduction unit is supplied partailly assembled for shipping. Some assembly will be required.
